logo Bike and Trike Custom Show logo

Although we had planned to go to this show, the event it became kind of happened all at once.
We decided to have a BBQ, as the weather was being so kind for once. And the invites quickly went out.
Just to make sure, I put a note on the top of the web page, just in case anyone else wanted to join us.
Rick saw it, and wondering who was going, came along.
Rod and Cath, called in to say hello, Les and Janice pulled up, Jim and Big John arrived, Ged and Megan turned up, the gangs almost here.
Jane did a really nice job of the food, and we went off in 80 degree heat to the show.
It was a bit dissapointing to find that the £5 a ticket sign outside, failed to mention £8 on the gate, oh well.
As there were not too many bikes in the show, Ged Les and me entered, we still didn't win anything tho.
I spotted Chris across the arena, now the gang really is almost all here.
After the show, it was back to ours for food, there was loads, and we made one big hole in it.
Whilst we were stuffing ourselves, Paul and Lynn turned up, really nice to see them.
Paul has had some arm rests put on the trike, made a big difference to Lynn.
Then it was back to the show.
John took us down in the bread van, Les and Jane had the doggy cage at the back, which Jane managed to break.
The main band, Touch to Much, are an AC~DC tribute band, and bashed out over 2 hours of rock music.
There were so many people at the event it was a real success.
John took us home again, our two designated puppies in the pound, and after a wind down pint at home, bed time.
Perfect day.
We had so much to do on Sunday, we decided to stay at home, however sunny it was.
That was until we gave in and went to Powersports, with Les and Janice to Meet John.
John looking at a new Hyabusa, could only laugh at the trade in offered.
Les looking at a new Kawasaki VN1600 had a similar fate.
Mike and Lesley dropped in for somewhere to go, and a cup of tea, we had a bit of a chat, biking is great.
Oh well may as well go to Matlock for and ice cream then.
Hundreds of folks had the same idea, packed as usual, we enjoyed a happy couple of hours inspecting all the lovely bikes on show.
We came across John, with his magnificent Rune, as usual, no-one passed it without a good long look.
Lost Riders out in force, it is good to see our friends out.
And so to home, absolutely knackered, what a weekend, still got all those jobs to do, don't care, summer is here, and we are going to use it.
