Outriders Start Of Season Party

Are you sitting comfortably, then I will begin.
For me the party eas pretty much a last minute job, which is my excuse for finding at 5-30am, that the battery was dead on the Wildstar, rats.
So after work I went to CMC in Chesterfield and purchased a new one, less 15% discount, thanks CMC.
Which in turn is my excuse for being late to meet Rod, and forgetting where I was to meet him anyway, and ending 20 miles too far down the motorway.
Are you beginning to note a pattern here?
Eventually he found me, and after calling me names for about ten minutes, we set off down the M1, when we should hsve just turned left towards the A5.
We finally got to the Pack Horse after a little detour, or two, around Milton Keynes, and other roundabout obsessed towns.
Steve had already made it, and was there to greet us, this usually means we are about to get into trouble, and we did.
Tents up chairs out, beers on the go, lovely, then Steve knocked over the beers, only a little wet, then the wind knocked over the beers, a bit more wet. Time to go indoors.
We drunk some beer, played pool, drunk some beer, met friends, drunk some beer, talked, a lot, drunk some beer, "The foods ready", great lets go get some BBQ, (all included in the ticket price).
The three of us went and sat at one of those pic-nic table thingys, you know the ones, a table with two benches nailed to it.
As soon as I sat down, Rod stood up, and up went the table, Steve and me on our backs, food, beers, everything all came crashing down on us, a Lot more wet, mind you it made a lot of people laugh, took a long time to dry off tho.
Back inside, the entertainment for the night was a blues singer/guitarist, and very good he was too, we drunk some beer, and listened, and hid when the stripper arrived, a very pretty girl, and drunk some beer.
Not sure where the evening went, it is a sign of a good time when the time goes so quickly, maybe the beer helps a bit, but as we all know, The Outriders always put on a really good do.
There were a lot of people at the party, we all had a great time, damn fine value Outriders, you did it again, Thanks Very Much.
The sun shone, the ride home was fabulous, all in all, a great taster for the season, Bring it on.
