Me & My Bike

It all started when a brought a XV535 off a chap in london on my return home.
Me and a few friends went out for a few rides, then I started looking on the internet for the Virago Owners Club.
There it was, so for the next few weeks I just kept looking, and I saw an ad in the for sale section, XV750 for sale or may swap for a 535.
So for about 2 weeks I was thinking of giving the lady a call, to see if I could have a look at her xv 750.
When I did ring, it was answered by a nice voice and arangements were made for the next week for me to go and view it.
When I got to the very nice house, I was met by a lovely lady by the name of Pauline, and we spend about 2 hours talking and looking at the 2 bikes.
It was left for her to give me a call if she wanted to do the swap, 4 days later she texted me and said that we could swap but only it I joined the Lost Riders,
my reply to that was, I would if she did.
So that was it, off to pick the bike up, and arrange to join the club on the following Monday.
Which we both did and that was our first date, since then we have had many more, and are both going to join you all on some rallies as soon as I get a towbar for my bike.
So may I say a big thank you to you all, if it had not been for the club, I would not have met this wonderful lady, (that’s pauline not the bike), so look forward to meeting you all
