To my dear Lost Rider friends.
I would like to offer
my sincere thanks for the support you have given me and my family over the last
few days during my loss of Barbara.
A special thank you from my children for
Wednesday during Barbara's funeral.
I am truly in your debt.
Its good to
know so many people were so fond of Barbara.
I know we regularly use second
manning when we ride, but to my family and friends that do not ride a
bike,
it was truly overwhelming, the professional manner in which you all
gave me your support and help.
Because of you, Barbara will be remembered
and talked about for a very long time.
I feel humbled and proud to know you
all,
A very big thank you,
Big John
Barbara
Simpson.
Barbara, wife of John, mother, grandmother and a good
friend of many,
passed away suddenly at home on the evening of Saturday 21st
July.
Our thoughts at this very sad time are with the surviving family and
friends.
Also in our thoughts is anyone who is mourning the loss of a loved
one.
The VSOC has kindly been given permission to pay their last respects
to Barbara,
to support John and more importantly, to celebrate the very
full life that she lived.
Yours respectfully
Malc Newton,

Just a short note Harold to let you know how shocked I
was to hear the sad news about Barbara.
I did not have the opportunity to
meet her since she left the Brush many years ago now.
But I remember her
when she was working in the offices above 43m/c. shop alongside Beverley.
Take care Harold , you are in our thoughts.
Best wishes Terry Bexley

We are devastated to hear of the sudden loss of Barbara,
a very precious friend!
We can remember as if it was yesterday the first
time we met John and Barbara, it was at a rally.
They were thinking of
joining the VSOC and would be in our Centre,
they were both so keen to join
in all the fun, and that is exactly what they did!
Our heart goes out to
you John and your family, we are always here for you, anytime.
We know you
will always be with us Barbara as we ride together, keeping us in check!
We
will miss you, your laughter, your humour your generosity and most of all your
friendship!
Love always,
Liz and Malc
